The Stitching Forum with Royal School of Needlework
The Stitching Forum is the place to solve all your stitching quandries and questions!
Anne Butcher, the Programme Director of the prestigious Royal School of Needlework (RSN) will be on the stand, along with demonstrations, Anne can suggest ways to encourage your customers to rediscover needlecraft by running successful workshops in store and developing additional revenue from consumables, and the up-selling of tools and equipment.
During the show, the RSN will also be painting bespoke canvases ready for stitching. These designs have been taken or inspired from the RSN Archive, which is used as a source for research. In the past, the RSN had a ‘paint/design room’, which was separate to the Studio, where customers could order bespoke hand painted canvases or embroidery designs.
Originally this extensive Archive was used to design kits for their own Retail Shop and has also been known to produce prototypes for other kit suppliers … Come along and see whether they could also work with you.
Madeira embroidery threads and Zweigart needlework fabrics, along with the RSN are delighted to be sponsoring The Stitching forum. All are recognized throughout the world for offering exceptional quality embroidery materials and services. The team, along with Anne, will be on-hand to share with you their many years of experience and expertise, and provide you with hints, tips and techniques to take back to your stores.
