Noble Cotton

Noble Cotton is a DK weight yarn. It is spun with 100% mercerized long-staple cotton and available in solids, fluorescent neons, and other dye effects such as tie dyed and hand dyed. Noble Cotton uses locally sourced cotton fiber from reputable suppliers. Processing, dying and spinning are all done at the same facility, reducing the overall carbon footprint. The water used in manufacturing/dying is filtered on site via a ZLD (zero liquid discharge), recuperating 95% of water the water used achieving exceptional color quality. No waste water is discharged.

The Mahal Dress

BELMONTE

A yarn for all seasons

Belmonte is a blend of organic wool (wool from sheep that have not been exposed to chemicals and that are kept in good farm conditions) and organic cotton (cotton grown using methods and materials that have a low impact on the environment). It combines the warmth and lightness of wool with the comfort of cotton. It’s a light weight yarn, ideal for sweaters and cardigans - as these knits come in handy the entire yarn. Belmonte works beautifully with even the most simple stitches, as each color presents two shades of the same tone (the result of having two different fibers).

A GOTS certified yarn Belmonte is a GOTS certified yarn: both cotton and wool are organic and GOTS certified. But also the entire production process owns this certification - since March 2018, Rosários 4 production process (spinning, dyeing, finishing and trading) is certified, thus guaranteeing an environmentally and socially responsible manufacturing, in accordance to all GOTS criteria.

The Joti Duster Jacket

The Joti Duster Jacket is a lightweight, wafting coverup – perfect for protection from the sun or for chilly evenings. The Joti Duster Jacket has gathered diagonal style lines to the front and the drop-shoulder sleeves are full and are gathered onto a slim cuff.  The neck trim, that runs the full length of the coat, works well in a contrasting fabric. For measuring knitting needle gauges Sustainable birch wood Cute cat form 15 measurement holes between 2 mm and 10 mm in diameter Anyone who likes to knit often has a large variety of knitting needles in various sizes and gauges. And how often do you find scattered knitting needles when cleaning and sorting wool? This is where Prym's knitting needle gauge is a practical aid in determining the knitting needle thickness. The cute Prym accessory in cat form consists of sustainable birch wood and has 15 measurement holes with the usual diameters of all common knitting needles ranging from 2 mm to 10 mm. This allows for every knitting needle gauge to be accurately determined.

Our faux leather patches are PVC free! PVC is one of the most environmentally damaging plastics throughout its lifecycle and we are proud to have PVC free plastics in our product range.

MADRAGOA

Madragoa is a 100% natural silk yarn, which is the concept of sustainability right at its genesis. To get a better understanding of this yarn, it is important to know its composition – and what it represents.

NATURAL SILK Madragoa is produced with bourette silk, one of the characteristics of Mulberry silk. Bourette silk is what remains after the silk is spun. The fibers are shorter, the texture is not uniform, and it does not have as much shine. But that doesn't mean it can't be used to make yarn. Quite the contrary! This natural silk can, and should, be reused – and it is with it that Madragoa is made. This explains the matte and textured appearance of this yarn, which surprises many people, accustomed to the classical smooth sheen of silk.

THE ADVANTAGES Despite being recycled silk, bourette is still silk and has the same characteristics as this fiber: it retains heat in cold weather, cools down in hot weather and it’s very, very light. And because it is made from recycled silk, the advantages are endless: environmentally, it contributes to reducing material waste; and economically, as natural silk yarn, it can be produced at more affordable prices.

ROMARIA

A 100% Portuguese yarn Sustainability is also right at the core of the Romaria yarn. It is a 100% wool yarn, 100% produced in Portugal, with wool from Portugal. From the spinning to the final ball ready to knit, the entire production process takes place at the Rosários 4 factory, located in central Portugal.

This yarn has become one of the favorites in the Rosários 4 collection, not only for its composition and thickness, but also for its colourcard of mixed colors, making Romaria a perfect yarn for colorwork patterns.

Makers Mate

For years we have been asked for a ‘handle’ for our stamps to make stamping easy. Well we listened! We worked hard with a 3D printing engineer to develop this amazing tool which makes not only stamping easy with an ergonomic handle, but also can be used to hold down stencils. The ‘Large’ has an acrylic base for 12cm, the ‘Small’ is available separately and has a base of 6cm.

The Arya Pleat Dress is a festival of little pleats inspired by the many pintuck details I saw in garments in Jaipur. It has a voluminous hourglass shape, without being super-fitted. There are twelve darts at the front and twelve at the back giving it a cinched in waist with a full skirt. The grown-on sleeves have darts for a slight bubble shape. There is an optional zip in the side seam.
